Scope of work is an area in an agreement where the work to be performed is described a contains reports, deliverables, end products that are expected to be provided by the performing party within a specific timeline and budget being root of any business transactions or agreement it should be defined in clear and précised way. Living no room for ambiguity or confusion to avoid legal disputes. 

Scope of work is the most important stage of the discovery an execution process because, it lays down the foundation for the future of the project to be carried out. It provides necessary direction to the project in the form of mile stones, deliverables, deadlines and expectations.

The scope of work is a section within the statement of work While the statement of work is very detailed legal document that describes the objectives and goals of a project.  On the other way scope of work determines the exact process to me those goals.

It is a form that can be edited to provide a detailed explanation of work that will be performed as part of a contract or sub contract. It should be signed and kept with the parties involved as a copy for their reference.
